Italian bread sticks are a great low-fat and crunchy alternative to breads, crackers, or chips.


12 Italian bread sticks

0.5 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

0.33333 cup pine nuts

3 whole garlic cloves

0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil

2 tbsp parsley

2 tbsp cilantro

0.25 cup oregano

2 cups basil


Place all the herbs and garlic in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.

While the food processor is running, slowly add the olive oil in a steady stream and process until fully incorporated and smooth.

Add garlic, pine nuts and cheese and give it a few more pulses.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve with Italian bread sticks for dipping.
