Asian Style Chicken Burgers
to Prep & to Cook
Yields 4 (4 servings × 4)
Fast, healthy, and down right awesome. These burgers are great for lunch, dinner, or a picnic.
Toppings of your choosing
1 ginger root
3 tablespoons Sesame seed oil
Nonstick Spray, such as Pam
4 hamburger buns, English Muffins, or pretzel roles
Salt, Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
2 to 3 cloves of garlic
1 pound ground chicken breast
Mince or paste the garlic and approximately ¼- ½ of the ginger root. Set aside.
Combine ground chicken breast, ginger, garlic, oil, soy sauce, and pepper (salt will come later) and mix. Be careful not to over mix; just enough so the ingredients combine will be sufficient. Form four patties
Heat a large skillet or grill over med-high heat. Just before the pan is ready, spray with nonstick coating and let the pan get back to temperature.
Add chicken patties to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, so the patties are cooked through and have a nice crust. While cooking add salt and pepper to taste.
While the patties are cooking, toast the buns to your liking.
Place each patty on a toasted bun, add toppings if you like and serve!!!!
